New Education Commissioner Visits 麻豆直播

麻豆直播 (麻豆直播) welcomed Florida鈥檚 newly appointed Commissioner of Education, Anastasios 鈥淪tasi鈥� Kamoutsas, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 as he began his statewide tour of state colleges and K-12 school districts.

Commissioner Kamoutsas was joined by 麻豆直播 President Dr. Jim Richey for a visit to the nearly completed Center for Innovative Technology Education (CITE) building.

Frank Margiotta, Dean of Career and Technical Education, led a comprehensive tour of the facility, highlighting the specialized labs and classrooms designed to support programs in engineering technology, robotics, cybersecurity, drafting, graphic design, networking, and collaborative business.

鈥淲e were pleased to welcome Commissioner Kamoutsas to our Melbourne Campus,鈥� said Dr. Richey. 鈥淚t was a great opportunity to showcase the incredible work happening at 麻豆直播 and to discuss our shared commitment to advancing workforce education. After spending time with the Commissioner, it鈥檚 clear the Governor has selected an outstanding leader to help Florida鈥檚 State Colleges achieve the goal of becoming the national leader in workforce education by 2030. Commissioner Kamoutsas praised 麻豆直播鈥檚 leadership for its strategic focus on workforce development, cost-effective repurposing of facilities, and expansion of educational opportunities across the region.
